A winner in every sense of the word, Hall has been coaching college baseball for 36 years (an both as assistant and head coach) and has never been associated with a program under .500 for a season. He has been part of 1,499 victories and seven trips to the College World Series.
“Matt is a terrific baseball talent and his vision for what he wants to do on the mound and defensively here at Georgia Tech is exactly what we were looking for,” head coach Danny Hall said. “In addition to his coaching ability and energy, he also has extensive knowledge and experience scouting and recruiting the state of Georgia, as well as the greater Southeast, as a native Georgian. Matt will be a huge asset for Georgia Tech and we are thrilled to have him join our staff.”
Ramsey joins preseason 17th-ranked Georgia Tech after spending a year with his alma mater on the Florida State baseball coaching staff as an assistant.
“We are excited to welcome Zeke to our staff,” head coach Danny Hall said. “As a team captain at Louisville who played in two College World Series, he will be instrumental in leading and developing our catchers.”
