Danny Hall Baseball Camp Health & Safety Policies

    1. Campers will not be allowed to enter the facilities if they have been diagnosed with COVID-19 or have been exhibiting signs and symptoms of COVID-19
    2. Campers will be expected to follow camp rules as they relate to sanitation, social distancing, and other limitations
    3. Campers will have their temperature checked each morning when they arrive to camp.  Anyone with a temperature greater than 100.4 and/or showing symptoms of COVID-19 will not be allowed to participate
    4. Anyone that shows symptoms of COVID-19 during camp will be separated from the group immediately and will leave camp as soon as a parent or guardian can arrive at the facility
    5. Anyone that has been home sick or left camp sick will not be allowed to attend camp unless they have had a negative COVID-19 test result, have been fever free for at least 72 hours, and at least 10 days have past once you has symptoms
    6. All parents/guardians must drop off/pick up camper at the main entrance of the facility.  Parents are asked to remain in their vehicles unless instructed by a staff member  
    7. All paperwork and payment must be completed prior to attending camp
    8. Drop-off and pick-up times will be staggered by age group.  We will email out times the week before camp
    9. Campers will be required to sanitize their hands upon arrival at camp and during each break
    10. Visitors will not be allowed to camp.  This includes family, friends, relatives, etc. 
    11. All camp coaches will be trained to identify symptoms of illness from COVID-19 and will also be trained in the proper process for removing a potentially ill camper from the other campers
    12. An Isolation area will be created away from campers for anyone that might become sick
    13. Groups/teams will be 10 campers or less and will remain together throughout camp.  Social distancing will be enforced at each station the group attends 
    14. Coaches will remain with the same group throughout camp
    15. Groups will not be allowed to congregate with other groups
    16. Each camper will have a designated space for their personal belongings, which will be social distanced from other campers.
    17. Campers must bring all their own baseball equipment (bat, glove, hat, helmet, etc.).  We will not provide equipment nor can campers share another camper’s equipment
    18. Camp equipment (balls, cones, etc.) will be sanitized after each station/use
    19. Supervisors will be patrolling the facilities making sure we are enforcing the social distancing as well as the sanitation policies
    20. Campers will be required to bring their own lunch/snacks. All lunchboxes and food must be labeled with the campers’ name
    21. Campers must pack enough liquids (water, sports drinks) to last the entire day.  We will have an emergency supply of bottled waters on hand
    22. Coaches/workers will be required to wear gloves if a camper needs assistance when opening food/snacks
    23. Coaches will be wearing masks and gloved throughout the camp.  Campers are welcome to wear masks but not required
